I picked up Summer, since birthday was the theme of my last Carnival. Anyway, these two topics are related... my birthday will be on 17th June and just a few days later Summer begins... so let's celebrate!

I would say that Summer is my favorite season, not an extremely hot Summer, but one with lots of sun and light... with sunny days to spend by the beach, wearing light clothes and sandals. I live in a city near the sea, with a mild weather and a sunny Summer - a bit windy, but sunny! - so I love to visit the seashore once in a while.

Summer is also holiday time! I use to go on vacation in August and this year I will spend 10 days in Santa Maria, Azores, hopefully enjoying some calm days by the countryside and by the beach... can't wait!
