"Frida, Friducha..."

Adoptei uma fofa gatinha branca e cinza em Abril de 2008. Ela é independente, teimosa e doce. Adoro-a! E não consigo resistir aos seus brilhantes olhos azuis... Dei-lhe o nome de Frida Kahlo, em homenagem à incrível mulher e artista mexicana com o mesmo nome. Às vezes peço à Frida que pose para mim enquanto a desenho - acho que ela gosta! Na verdade, acho que ela tem orgulho em ser o centro das atenções... Como uma verdadeira gata, a Frida sabe que é absolutamente irresistível!

Esta série de desenhos chama-se FRIDA, the cat. Usei papel Fabriano 85g/m2 e desenhei com uma caneta de aparo Artpen da Rotring, pastel de óleo e grafite. Espero que a partir destes desenhos nasçam muitos mais... podem ver os que estão disponíveis aqui.

I adopted I lovely furry white and gray cat in April of 2008. She´s independent, stubborn and sweet. I absolutely love her! And can´t resist her bright blue eyes... I called her Frida Kahlo, in a tribute to the great Mexican woman and artist with the same name. Sometimes I ask Frida to pose for me while I draw - I think she likes it! In fact, I believe she's proud to be the center of attention... as a true cat, Frida knows that she's absolutely gorgeous!

And here am I presenting "FRIDA, the cat" series. I used Fabriano 85g/m2 paper and I sketched with a Rotring Art Pen with calligraphy nib, graphite and oil pastel. I hope to draw so much more in the future... check out the avilable drawings here.
